Warrant of Fitness

A WOF checks that a vehicle meets the legal safety standard — lights, tyres, brakes, steering, structure and the rest — and it's the job most people ring West Belt Motors for first. As an MTA Assured workshop, the inspection is carried out to the association's standard.

If something fails

If a car doesn't pass, we can tell you what's needed to get it through — and because West Belt Motors does general repairs as well as inspections, the car often doesn't have to go anywhere else to get sorted.

What happens when you bring a car in

1. You ring or email. Make, model, rego, and what you need.
2. We book it in and tell you when to bring it.
3. We check it and tell you the result.
4. If it needs work to pass, we tell you what and what it costs before anything is done.
